Robert asks…
I am looking to replace the cushion support fabric on an outdoor/patio swing that I purchased from Sears.?
I purchased an outdoor swing from Sears about 3-4 years ago and cannot find any of the paper work. The swing has a greyish, powder finish. The 3 seat single cushion and canopy is off-white & tan with a fern-type leaf pattern. Does anyone know the name of the pattern or how I can contact the manufacturer for a ready made replacement. I’ve thought about having one made but I think it would cost more than the original price of the swing. Maybe a manufactured one will also. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I need to replace the support fabric, not the cushion. The cushion and canopy are a little sun faded but still in great shape.

Suntan answers:
If it were mine, the first thing I would do is see what the support is made up, and how it is attached. If it was screwed on, all I’d do is remove the screws and buy some of the same fabric. Canvas is good.
If it was lapped over and sewn directly to the other surface, I’d call a boat place that advertises canvas repairs, or a camper place, and ask the how much the LABOR would be
I know what you’re going through. A new cushion, alone, was only $10 less tan the whole swing. I just made my own.

Laura asks…
european paper wasps building underneath everything in my yard?
they are everywhere i check under, with usually just one or a few cells built. none of the wasps look like queens. they are under the patio chair cushions, under the coffee table, under the swing canopy and worst of all, in the plastic climber that the kids play on. they keep coming back. should I move house or can anyoner tell me how to get rid of them. we live near pine woods. you would think they would be happy in there!

Suntan answers:
The best thing to suggest would be to contact your local council.
They should be able to come and dispose of them and the hive for you.
This should be free of charge as it should be covered by your council tax.
If they insist on charging then trawl through the local yellow pages. You should be able to find a pest control company that will be able to get rid of them for you.
It would be worth getting a few quotes as these guys charge what they want.
I wouldn’t suggest trying to do it your self as they get really mad and sting.
Good luck

Jenny asks…
Whats a website where I can find a piece of patio furniture like this?
I was at my friends house, and they had this swing.
The swing folded from couch style to bed style,
it had a canopy over it,
and it also had mosquito net curtains, all around it.
Now I really want one. ![]()
So, my questions.
1. Does anyone know of a website or store where I can find one at? (Maybe where I can find one cheap, but it doesn’t matter really.) and
2. If you don’t know of a website where I can find one, In your opinion, How much do you think it would cost?

this has to be what you’re talking about! And it’s absolutely gorgeous:)
Good Luck!
