******Stone Landscaping prices???******?
Okay, I have a large yard & it has grass right now, but it is hard to handle. With maintenance, watering, etc….So I have been wanting to get rocks. But I am unsure of the price. How do they charge?? Just ball park the price…thanks.

You can start by putting down a layer of cheap crush and run and then a layer of something more attractive. The place where I buy sells regular sharp edged gravel by the cubic yard. 40 bucks for plain. Colors increase that by about 10 bucks. One thing I have found to be true is that the smoother, the more expensive. My place sells boulders by the pound.

is teppie slate (araal) safe for aquarium?
i just wanna ask you guys if teppie stone is safe to put in a aquarium??? ( rocks used for landscaping ) really need your insights… tnxs

It is safe in itself, but if you got it at the landscapers’ it might have been stored near fertilizers or insecticides which would not be safe. You can leave it out exposed to a few rainstorms before using it in the aquarium, if you think it might have other landscaping products on it.

Stone Roses… Spawned Brit pop from thier sound… Pulp, Oasis, The Verve… It has been said that The Verve met at a Stone Roses show…
These two bands, oceans apart, helped form musical movements of the early/late 1990′s (America- Grunge/garage rock/indie… Britian- Brit pop, shoegazer, indie)… Are they the same in that manner? Whose is your fav- Pixies or Stone Roses? WHo has done more to the musical landscape?

Stone Roses and Pixies were, no doubt,an awesome bands.But my fave.of this period (may be a little bit earlier) were The Jesus And Mary Chain.If Nirvana was a Pixies cover band,then Stone Roses was a Jesus… Cover band.(It’s only my personal opinion).
