Yes, it’s not particularly good for the saw – too much dust in the bearings and windings of the motor.

There are two types of masonry blades for circular saws – one looks like a sort of grit and glue impregnated fabric – the other is a steel disk with a diamond coated edge – the good diamond blades cost over $100 but there are $20 diamond blades that will cut 100 times as many pavers as one of those $7 abrasive disks.

Edited – forget that – you know you can go to the rental shop and rent a wet saw designed for pavers? IT doesn’t cost much for a day, cuts through them like butter, doesn’t make clouds of dust all over creation, doesn’t trash the bearing sin your nice circular saw. What’s not to like? Also, the paver saws have a stationary motor/blade and a rolling table – there’s a groove in the table where the cut will be, mark the paver on both edges, line the marks up on the groove and roll the table forward – it’s really nice.
