I’ve used audacity [ http://audacity.sourceforge.net ] and recorded plenty of vinyl onto CD using this program, and it is free!

Is there a FREE Downloadable Internet Radio Transmitter software?
I’m looking to doing a little free enterprise Radio Broadcasting over the INTERNET only. I Already have a set of CDMIX1 decks which are connected to my PC for sound recording and I regularly use. I’m looking for a FREE program that will utilise my PC as an internet “ONLY” transmitter.

Where can i get a free sound recording software?
I would like to transfer sound from cassete deck to my computer and then burn it into a CD

There is a built in sound recorder in windows, transferring from a cassette to cd is tricky in that the quality of sound might suffer….I use Nero Wave editor to record and cleanup external sound files, there are several other programs out there you can get but Nero has all the tools in one convenient suite…you will need to connect a tape deck to your line in on youor sound card, and use the headphone jack rather than the line out from the deck as this will allow for more adjustments to get the best sound you can. Downside is you have to record in realtime, upside is you can edit the sounds and actually get it to sound better than the original…time consuming but worth it. I have been transferring LP’s to disc for awhile and with Nero I an get most of the cracks and fuzzyness out of the sounds and get them to clearup a little bit, and then burn them to disc, all within the same program.

Good free DJ mixing software?
I have an event to DJ, but having been a long time since I did it, I no longer have the equipment.. what i seek is a good, easy to use Free program that will allow me to run 2 MP3 decks and line up the next rack while the previous one is playing so there is no breaks in the music.
Looking for good suggestions.
