I need to replace my deck and I was considering a pergola design so the midday and afternoon sunlight that streams in my west windows would be filtered. I would love a deck I could fill with plantings and flowers. Would a pergola design suit both those needs?

Does anyone know what Program would be useful for Designing a Starship??
I have been using MS Paint to design Deck Plans for a Future Star-Trek Starship. It takes a good 18 years into the Future from the Last Movie. It contains 67 Decks.
I would like to use a Program other than Paint, so I can Manage the Decks (BMP’s for now) into an Actual Starship.
Any good 3-D Modelers out there I could use?? One that isn’t too awfully Complicated?!?

Well, AutoCad would be the best, but it is kind of expensive.
You might try TurboCad. It has enough features for what you want, but is considerably cheaper.
Or, check out some freeware cad programs. I am sure they have some, but I am not familer with them. . .

Have you checked at Home Depot? I’m sure you can find what you need on their data base, not the website, but at a store.
I’ve found some wonderful patterens that I didn’t know existed, until a sales clerk showed me their available patterns.
